Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Clipry, including clipry.com, app.clipry.com, ai.clipry.com, and related services. By signing in or uploading anything, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Who can use Clipry

You have to be at least 13 years old. If you're between 13 and 18, or your local age of majority, you need a parent or guardian to be okay with you using this. You sign in through Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo, so your account security is tied to whichever provider you picked. Don't share your account, don't let other people use it, and don't try to use someone else's.

2. Your content belongs to you

Anything you upload stays yours. You're not transferring ownership to us. You give us permission to store it, serve it back to you, process it through our AI features so we can tag and search it, and deliver it to anyone you share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or delete your account, subject to backups, legal holds, abuse records, and legally required preservation.

3. What you can't upload or do

This section is the acceptable use policy for Clipry. You may not upload, store, share, link to, or use Clipry to support:

4. Shareable links

Every clip you upload gets a long, random URL. If you copy that URL and send it to someone, they can view the clip without logging in. Treat share URLs like keys. If you paste them somewhere public or indexable, anyone may be able to see the content. If you delete a clip, the URL stops working.

5. Collaboration and shared folders

When you invite someone into a folder, they can see everything in that folder, add to it, and depending on their role, edit or delete things. You're responsible for who you invite. If a collaborator uploads something that breaks these Terms, we may remove the content, remove their access, or remove the whole folder.

6. Free and paid plans

Free accounts get 1 GB of storage, 1,000 items, and access to images, video, audio, notes, links, PDFs, and office documents. Paid accounts get higher limits and access to additional file types including archives. Pricing, features, and limits can change with notice.

7. Enforcement

If you violate these Terms, we can remove content, suspend your account, terminate your account, delete your data, preserve evidence, block future access, or report the issue when required by law. For first-time minor violations we'll usually email you first. For CSAM, threats, malware, or other legally serious material, there may be no warning.

8. Reporting violations

Use the abuse page, or use the contact address at the bottom of this page. For CSAM, report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org and also notify us. Do not download, re-upload, screenshot, or save evidence yourself. For copyright claims, use our DMCA Policy.

9. Appeals

If we removed content or suspended you and you think we made a mistake, reply to the enforcement email or reach us through the Contact section below with the relevant details. We do reverse mistakes when we see them.

10. Service availability

We try hard to keep Clipry up. We don't promise 100% uptime. The service might be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, hosting outages, or events outside our control. Keep your own backups of anything irreplaceable.

11. Trademarks and our code

"Clipry", the Clipry logo, and the design of the app are ours. The code running the service is ours. These Terms don't give you any right to copy our branding, scrape the app for design assets, or run a competing service on our codebase.

12. No warranties

The service is provided "as is." We don't promise it's bug-free, perfectly secure, or fit for any specific purpose. You use it at your own risk.

13. Limit of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you're on the free plan.

14. Indemnification

If your content or actions get us sued, investigated, or threatened with a claim, you agree to defend us and cover the costs. This applies to your content and your actions, not to bugs or decisions we made.

15. Changes to these Terms

We'll update these Terms when we need to. Material changes will be announced through the service, by email, or on the site. If you keep using Clipry after a change takes effect, you've accepted the new version.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
